Job Description:

Mid Level Account Manager on a contract-to-hire basis

Our client is seeking an account professional who can meet with clients, learn about their creative needs and communicate them to the creative team.   This role is more than just building out schedules and tracking project milestones, it’s a true client partnership.    Our client is constantly  running promotions and campaigns for their vast products lines and retail stores.  An account manager will be that true partner to help build out the creative campaign coming in all kinds of forms:  flyers, circulars, OOH, packaging, signage, POP/POS, etc., etc.   Building out the creative brief you will act as the liaison between the onsite creative team and client.   Hiccups happen and it’s the Account Manager’s job to solve issues to the satisfaction of all parties involved.   If you love managing multiple clients with dozens of projects, then please read on!!

Typical Tasks:

  • Daily/Hourly meetings and status reports with client and creative team
  • Working with clients directly as the POC for his/her creative needs
  • Building out creative briefs
  • Anticipating road blocks and how to navigate around them
  • Creates reasonable schedules and deliverables
  • Tracking of daily tasks

Requirements of the role:

  • 3-5 years of Account Management experience, preferably from an agency
  • Account management of traditional, print campaigns
  • Strong communication skills.  We are looking for the trifecta:  Listening Skills, Verbal Communication and Written Communication
  • Strong client management skills
  • Can-Do attitude without over promising
  • Strong negotiation/reasoning skills
  • Work to be performed onsite
  • OT may be required

 

You will be part of a team of account professionals and coordinators ensuring all client creative needs are being met.
