STRATEGIC ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE - HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL
Our Client located in the Northwest suburbs is looking for an Strategic Account Rep to help manage eCommerce with multi-market influence and coordinates with other sales representatives and cross-functional channel team to execute a comprehensive marketing plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Evaluate market-by-market penetration of major accounts to identify competitive strengths and market-share opportunities
• Oversees total annual sales volume
• Develop semi-annual market-penetration plan for the accounts
• Coordinates the deployment of training resources to provide support to eCommerce retailers
• Use of Supply Agreements and strategic pricing/merchandising is essential
• Maintain direct relationships with key accounts
• Interact with operations associates to ensure order fulfillment and returns
• Understand the competitors' strategy and deploy strategies to counteract
• Conduct business and product reviews with the customer
• Ensure products and marketing messages are positively and fairly represented
• Manage account information as required
• Merchandising and pricing skills
• Develop and maintain relationships with merchant and management
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail
• Effectively communicate marketing messages
• Proficient with problem identification and conflict resolution
• Proficient in the application of team building skills and able to function within a team environment
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and the Internet
• 2+ years retail / consumer product sales experience
• eCommerce experience marketing, sales, merchandising, operations
• Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) required
Up to 50% Travel - This position will require a lot of travel mainly to the 5 online retailers which will usually be 1-2 night trips. Twice a year, there will be “markets” (trade shows) which will be 4-5 day trips.
